Top Seventh-day Adventist leaders from throughout the Inter-American Division (IAD) elected vice presidents and department directors during Mid-Year Executive Committee meetings, held Apr. 27-28, 2021.
“You have brought us a wonderful team for the next five years,” said Pastor Elie Henry, president of the church in Inter-America, as he thanked the nominating committee before the names were presented to the executive committee members. “Every name, every position was analyzed carefully and we are happy to have you as collaborators. We pray that you will be instruments in God’s hands for the progress of the church in Inter-America.”
Pastor Henry thanked leaders for their dedication and service as they transition into other activities, many of whom expressed their desire to retire. “We appreciate all that you have done, the time you worked at the IAD and we value your service. We believe that the Lord will give you the joy to see all your efforts bring forth wonderful fruits to God’s glory,” Pastor Henry said.
