Hundreds of Seventh-day Adventists throughout the church in North Colombia will gather to celebrate evangelistic efforts reached through the work of women, children and adolescents during a live online program from Medellin, Colombia, on Saturday, October 26, 2019. The event will highlight the work achieved during what the church in Inter-America coins as Fall Evangelism across its territory as the year draws to a close.

“We are looking to see Inter-American Division-wide baptisms as a result of soul-winning activities led by women and children, and as a precursor for the church to prepare for a year focused on discipleship and mega soul-winning in 2020,” said Pastor Balvin Braham, assistant to the IAD president for evangelism.

Prior to the live event, women leaders and child preachers from several unions across the territory will travel to Medellin to conduct evangelistic campaigns across churches and congregations.

“This is all part of women and children playing an integral part in carrying out the mission in total involvement of the church,” said Dinorah Rivera, women’s ministries director and children and adolescent ministries director for the church in Inter-America. “We have made a greater effort this year to empower, nurture, reclaim and reach women and children under the ‘Women in Mission, Chosen and Loved’ initiative and continued with the ‘Talking Backpack’ initiative to help children and adolescents reach others in a meaningful way.”

The two-hour event will be hosted from the auditorium of the Colombian Adventist University and will include speakers from the IAD and local leadership, evangelism reports from North Colombia and throughout the IAD territory, as well as baptismal ceremony.

The program will be streamed live in Spanish with English and French translations on October 26, 2019, from 10:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Miami Time.
