Seventh-day Adventist business owners, lawyers and health professionals will gather for Inter-America’s Adventist-laymen’s Services and Industries (ASi) Convention this year in Nassau, Bahamas, from August 21-24, 2019.

The conference seeks to inspire and reaffirm ASi local chapter members and attendees of their commitment to sharing Christ in their business and communities in support of the mission of the church, organizers said.

Themed “Reviving the Spirit of Service”, the event will highlight the commitment of heartfelt, unselfish service in such pressing times in which the world lives today, organizers said.

“The age in which we live is an age which every action comes with a dollar price attached to it but the gospel calls upon those who follow Christ to serve and also to accomplish the objectives of reviving the spirit of service,” said Pastor James Daniel, vice president of the church in Inter-America and secretary of ASi Inter-America.

The four-day convention will also encourage and inspire laypersons and professionals to strengthen their regional chapters and establish additional ministries and projects to benefit the community around them.

Guest speakers this year will include John Bradshaw from It is Written, Phillip Baptiste, secretary of ASI North America, and many more.

ASi Inter-America’s opening program is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at 5:00 p.m.

Registration is still open with a special group rate for hotel rooms available until July 22.
