Young people across the Seventh-day Adventists churches in Inter-America will soon embark on a large initiative to spread the gospel in their communities. Church leaders are calling it the largest evangelistic effort of the year and one that requires preparation and a second special training during an online segment on June 2, 2018.

“We want our youth to focus on impacting large cities, villages and towns,” said Al Powell, youth ministries director for the church in Inter-America and main organizer of the initiative. “The church needs brave evangelists to preach the Word of God with power during our June 30-July 7.”

Coined as “Mission Transform”—an initiative that seeks to transform lives through mission efforts—the special training for young people ages 16-35 will teach how to establish centers of influence, how to prepare the church for evangelistic campaigns, how to deliver the sermon, as well as home visitations, urban preaching, and more.

It’s all young people integrating in communities to give a Bible study, preach the word, and be the hands and feet of Jesus, said Powell. Local churches are encouraging young people and their friends to take part in the upcoming training segment.

Watch the Mission Transform Training II Session in English, Spanish and French, on June 2, 2018, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Miami Time, at webcast.interamerica.org
