Dozens of Seventh-day Adventists pray and worship together at the Iglesia de Minas Adventist Church in Camaguey, Cuba, where the Adventist message began in the region 100 years ago. Pastor Aldo Joel Perez, president of the church in Cuba, and other church leaders celebrated with church members during a special program held there last month. Church members were given seminars and presentations to continue the same spirit that brought about the first two baptisms as a result of the work of North American missionaries, said Perez.
