The Inter-American Division’s Youth Ministries department will be conducting its first online youth campaign starting Apr. 24, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. Miami Time from its headquarter office in Miami, Florida.

Themed “Win with Jesus” the virtual youth campaign is the first such event to be organized and is expected to draw thousands of Adventist youth. Young people will be able to watch the 45-minute program from their mobile devices across the territory, according to Pastor Benjamin Carballo, youth ministries director for the church in Inter-America.

“I’m so excited to connect directly with our young people through this youth campaign” says Carballo. Carballo says that the idea for this campaign grew from a need to reach young people during Inter-America’s Year of the Laity this year.

“Our young people face many challenges, many struggle with low self-esteem and making the right decisions so during this virtual campaign I want them to know that they too can be victorious with Jesus,” explains Carballo.

The spiritual messages will highlight the lives of Several Bible characters such as Mephibosheth, Samson, the Samaritan woman, and Gideon, and how they dealt with their own struggles and overcame their challenges.

The online programs will be carried in Spanish, English and French and will feature music, a spiritual message and a question and answer session.
